2020 UV Cabernet Sauvignon - 98 Points, Robert Parker, Wine Advocate
"The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon Upchurch Vineyard is mostly clone 2 with clone 198. Blended with 9% Merlot, the wine opens to a fresh and opulent nose with a juicy frame that offers a dynamic, pure and focused expression with layers of complexity, healthy fruit and ripe oak tones that sing harmoniously in unison. Full-bodied, the palate is fresh, balanced and succulently ripe, with a balanced structure, juicy acidity and fine-grained tannins, offering tremendous pleasure and a food-friendly finish. Give it time. This might be the best vintage of Cabernet Sauvignon Upchurch Vineyard that I have tasted. The wine aged for 20 months in 90% new French oak barrels. Only 6,300 bottles were produced of this pure, layered and complex Cabernet."
2021 UV Cabernet Sauvignon - 97 Points, Owen Bargreen
"A total stunner, the 2021 Upchurch Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon has clone 2 and 191 clonal selection Cabernet Sauvignon in the the twelfth vintage of this wine. Stored in mostly new Taransaud oak barrels this offers beautiful cedar and mocha notes alongside creme de violette and pencil shavings. The palate is plush and refined with serious weight and texture, showing heady black and blue fruits alongside scorched earthy tones. Totally stunning, this beauty is absolutely singing in its high octave right now. Enjoy now and over the next twenty years to come. Drink 2024-2044"
2022 UV Cabernet Sauvignon - 97 Points, Owen Bargreen
"The 2022 Upchurch Vineyard is is all Cabernet Sauvignon, clonal selections 191 and 8 coming from this site planted back in 2007. Black florals mark the nose alongside milk chocolate and espresso bean notes. The palate is plush and rich with serious viscosity and tension. Refined and generous, with broad shoulders, refined tannins and shades of anise seed, with scorched earth accents, this is drinking beautifully right now. Drink 2025-2045"
